After a masquerade, Prince Kit mistakes Ella's stepsister for her, and hides his identity as a guard in her family, while ignoring and hurting her. Heart-broken, Ella chooses to marry the cursed Beast Prince. Having discovered the truth with his lifespan sacrificed, Kit asks Ella to leave with him in her wedding, attempting to make up for her in his last seven days. In the end, Kit receives her forgiveness and survives, and Ella returns to her beloved Beast Prince.
